Your right to vote for your D10 & D8 Council Representative has been taken away!
On Dec. 5, seven members of the 2022 City Council approved a Memorandum by Jimenez, Davis and Arenas to begin an appointment process to fill District 8 and District 10 Council vacancies. Mayor Liccardo, Mayor-elect Mahan and Councilmembers Jones and Foley voted for a Special Election as has been customary in the past. The application process is online; the deadline is January 2; a decision by the nine-member 2023 Council is proposed before the end of January.
